The symmetrical floral kind of design you see is not a random design. When you see the note against light, you should see a full 500 appearing there.\n\n2. When seen against light, you will find an outline of Gandhi and another "500" written in this place which normally looks empty.\n\n3. The color of this 500 changes from green to bluish green when tilt to certain angle.\n\n4. This number glows when exposed to UV light!\n\n5. This thread has "Bharath", "RBI" and "500" written on it when looked against light.\n\n6. This is interesting! The text printed here is not printed along with the note. It is written on top of the note with raised ink and hence can be felt by hand!\n\n7. Even this design has a hidden "500" on it.. can be seen clearly when put against light.\n\n8. Behind Gandhi\'s portrait, you will find RBI and 500 written when looked with a magnifying glass!\n\n9. There is a small dot mark to help blind people identify the note!\n\n10. Right at the bottom centre on the back side of the note, you will find the year in which the note is printed.\n\n11. When held against light, you can find another "500" from the back side of the floral design near the top.\n\nWhen I realized that technology can help so much in preventing fraudsters from making fake notes, I was really impressed. This definitely came as a mind blowing fact to me.\n'} created: Fri, 18 Jul 2014, 04:25 PM UTC
